Very tasty and authentic food! The staff are also very friendly and there is free Nepalese bread with every order. The prices are fair and the portions are large :)

Terrible experience with server. We ordered vegetarian dishes, but got chunks of chiken in one curry. When mentioned that to the server, he did nothing about it and was not even sorry.

Fortunately, there is the Namaste Nepal restaurant in Wiesbaden. In addition to many dishes with meat, the restaurant offers a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, all of which are of great taste. If you like and appreciate Indian cuisine, you should pay a few euros and eat or order from Namaste. It tastes authentic and delicious. It is also located on the banks of the Rhine in Wiesbaden, a very nice area in Wiesbaden (near the Biebricher Schloss). All employees are very friendly and patient. Ordering by phone also works great (it doesn't always have to be online 😉).

Nice food

My wife and I were at an impasse as to where to go for dinner. Neither of us could remember having eaten Nepalese food so we gave Namaste Nepal a shot. When we got there, it was nearly empty so seating was quick. The food was excellent. I had asked for spicy (aber nicht Deutsch scharf, Nepal scharf) and they delivered - a good amount of spice while still maintaining the flavor of the food.

Very nice fish curry and great Masala tea. Good service, too.

The ambience is very high quality and the kitchen offers a high level of food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The view on the Rhine simply invites you to sit down here and relax with a good drink. It is now called Castle Kitchen in Biebricher Castle

As much as I want to rate them highly because of their friendly service, I just can’t do it for the fact that the food wasn’t anything more than just average. Prior to the only time dining there, we’ve always just had momos-to-go. The momos are ‘okay’ for what they are. But the real disappointment came when we dined there only to be served average tasting food – 2 starters and 1 main dish – all in the same tune. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance though, was clean (including the toilet, which is a rarity in Germany), and is located in a great spot right next to the river Rhine. And once again, I want to highlight that the man serving us was polite and friendly (another rarity in Germany), and is probably the one reason why we would consider returning there. I really hope that they can somehow improve on their offerings, and then it would be a great place to go. P.S. To my surprise, they have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan foods – a big high five there!

Looking at old reviews it must have been a good restaurant in the past. I visited this restaurant recently and nothing was right. Even simple food like naan bread was not tasty. All dishes shared same spice mix with too much turmeric. Looks like their cook left them...

I went to the restaurant as soon as I realized that there is a Nepalese-Indian restaurant in this town. When I entered the restaurant, the prayer flags, lamps with the eyes of Buddha and interior took my breathe away. I so much loved to sit there and then I was welcomed by a friendly Nepali waiter. He brought me a spicy mixed vegetable and fried rice. The taste made me remember the food I used to eat back home. I would love to visit there again and again.
